Veronica Paadin Rogero

Veronica Paadin Rogero is a Research Assistant at the Indigo Rock Marine Research Centre (IRMRC), with expertise in commercial algae cultivation, aquaculture management, and clinical and biomedical diagnostics and analysis.

Her current activities focuses on the commercial cultivation of macroalgae, particularly Asparagopsis armata, within Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) and Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). Veronica contributes to the development and optimisation of sustainable algae production systems, applying her expertise to the DEMO-scale cultivation of freshwater algae in IMTA environments. Her work supports the bioremediation of trout farm effluents, helping to enhance environmental sustainability and resource efficiency in aquaculture operations.
